Stephanie Elaine Bivins Obituary
Stephanie Elaine Bivins, 54, departed this life suddenly on Monday, October 1, 2012.

Stephanie was born in Akron and graduated from North High School. She was an employee at the Juvenile Detention Center for 11 years and St. Thomas Hospital for 11 years. Stephanie loved writing and talking on the phone.

Stephanie was preceded in death by Blanche and James Flunoy. She leaves to cherish her memory, loving, devoted husband, Homer "Butch" Bivins, Jr.; brothers, Kenneth Williams and Martin (Sue) Flunoy; stepchildren, Dramane Bivins, Sr. (Kelly), Carmen Bivins, Lenese (Amos) Prince, Andre' Duckworth (Danita); best friend, Norma (Wayne) James; and a host of other close relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Rhoden Memorial Home, 1101 Palmetto Ave., with Rev. Beverly and Rev. Robert Lewis officiating. Friends may call at the chapel on Saturday from 2 p.m. until time of service. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 154 Oak Park Dr., Akron, OH 44302.
