Victor Frang, 91 of Akron, passed into eternity with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday June 14th 2013. |
Vic was born on May 8, 1922 to the late Anton and Theresa Frang in Akron, where he resided his entire life. He attended art school after graduation and then worked for General Tire until retirement with a break to serve with the Army in active duty during World War II. Vic was a "Jack of all trades" who enjoyed gardening, landscaping and won the Akron Beautification Award. He also enjoyed wood-working and especially fishing. Vic served the Lord in evangelizing, mission work in Mexico and jail ministry. He loved the Bible!
Vic was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tony; sister, Helen; wife, Mildred; an infant son, Rodney; daughter, Claudia and granddaughter, Christy. Remaining are his son, Gary; granddaughter, Tiffany Hackett; his wife, Ellen and her family. Vic also leaves behind his close friend, Dan Kurtz; many nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear brothers and sisters in Christ.

Cremation has taken place. No other services will be held.
