Wilda R. Cunningham, 79 years, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord, March 7, 2013.

A life resident of the area, she was the daughter of Ralph and Grace Kerr Cunningham. After working for the Girl Scouts of America for 23 years, Wilda retired from The Area Agency on Aging after 19 years service. A graduate of Kenmore High and the University of Akron, she was a member of Firestone Park United Methodist Church, College Club of Akron, Kenmore and Fairlawn AARP, and the Kenmore Senior Citizens.

Preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Carl, she is survived by, nephew, Robert (Gail) Cunningham of Beaver, Penn.; niece, Colleen (Richard) Redfern of Grove City, their families; and sister-in-law, Dolores Henson of Circleville, Ohio.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at the Schlup-Pucak Funeral Chapel, 788 Kenmore Blvd., where friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service. Rev. Patricia Christ officiating, burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. For those that wish memorial contributions may be made to the Church, 250 N. Firestone Blvd., Akron 44301.
