BARBERTON -- Glenn High, 69, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 at home, surrounded by his family, after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer.
A life resident of Barberton, he was an active member of Apple Creek American Legion and a U.S. Navy veteran of the Viet Nam Era.
Preceded in death by his siblings, Jack High, Daniel High and Catherine Warren; Glenn is survived by his wife of 47 years, Doni; daughters, Jill (John) Judge and Jennifer (Brad) Humrichouser; grandchildren, Isabella, Sophia and Jack Judge; sisters, Margaret (Leon) Hopkins and Carol (Terry) Fallick; sister-in-law, Shirley High; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will like to extend special thanks to Great Lakes Caring Hospice for all the care and support that Glenn and his family received.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday 1 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Chaplain Ryan Lennon officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling hours Monday from 5 to 8 p.m.
