Frank Leslein

Frank Leslein, 79, passed away peacefully March 2, 2014, surrounded by family.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, he was a 38-year Stow resident who graduated from Columbus South High School in 1952. Frank retired from the U.S. Postal Service after more than 28 years. He was also a retired Teamster. He was a member of The Knights of Columbus and attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. We will remember him for his love of family. His devotion to his grandchildren was evidenced by the fact that he never missed any of their events. He loved to travel with his wife and many close friends. Dad loved everything about Ohio, especially OSU football.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank H. and Catherine, and sister, Linda Rice. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Addie (Gualtieri) Leslein; sons, Michael D. (Danielle), Craig A., Scott D. (Julie); daughters, Michelle D. (Dale) Schlesinger, and Melissa A. (Robert) Willett; grandchildren, Ian, Katie, Taylor, Molly, Matthew, Tommy, Sarah, Annie, and Madison; brothers, Jack (Shirley), Dennis (Rushie); sister, Marilyn (Larry) Hiles; brother-in-law, Butch Rice; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at IMMACULATE HEART of MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
