Les Briggs

Les Briggs, 41, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away March 15, 2014.

He was born April, 6, 1972, in Barberton, and grew up in Canal Fulton.

He was son to Richard and Marilyn Briggs who, along with his wife's daughter, Jodi L. Strazi Passerini, preceded him in death. Les is survived by his wife and soulmate Candy J. Briggs; grandchildren, Mario and Maddalena Passerini; along with the Mugford family members on his wife's side, and many cousins on his father's side of the family. Les has many friends that will miss him dearly.

Les graduated from Northwest High School in Canal Fulton and earned an Associates Degree in Industrial Design from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He owned and operated Les Briggs Designs, working as an artist and painter for 14 years. He enjoyed cooking and being a host, swimming, caring for his beautiful roses, archery, target shooting with his wife and friends, watching movies, listening to music, tending to fires in the fireplace, and spending time with both his wife and grandchildren.

Visitation is planned for Friday, March 21, 2014, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with a memorial service following, at Adams Mason Funeral Home, 791 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305. In lieu of flowers, donations in Les' memory can be made to The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio St. Suite 304, Chicago, IL 60611 (ADAMS MASON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 330-535-9186)
