Louie Pearl Snider

Louie Pearl Snider, 99, of Brownsville, died at Harmar Place in Marietta on Monday, March 31, 2014.

She was born in Wirt County, West Virginia on March 10, 1915, the daughter of Jesse J. and Georgiana Kelly Dawson. She was a member of the Harmony Hill Baptist Church.

On April 11, 1936, she married Bernard Snider and he preceded her in death on March 5, 2008.

She is survived by three daughters, Nancy Weber (Elliott) of Brownsville, Mary Ann Kimmel (James) and Ruth Aju of Barberton, Ohio; one son, Joseph Snider (Sally) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three sisters: Eddie Law, Betty Nelson and Glenna Wilson (Darl).

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Leota Hall and Mary Belle Snider and one brother, Lewis Dawson.

Funeral service will be held at the Hadley Funeral Home New Matamoras Chapel on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at the Brownsville Presbyterian Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, April 4 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.hadleyfh.com.
