Teddy Sue Eagon-Reese

Teddy Eagon-Reese, 62, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014 in Barberton.

Teddy was born on April 29, 1951 to the late Richard and June Eagon, in Akron. Teddy was a 1969 graduate of Kenmore High School, and also graduated from The University of Akron. Teddy worked briefly as a teacher, before becoming the owner and president of Johns-Eagon Company for 35 years. She was a member of LifeSpring Christian Church and the East Akron Oriels. Teddy was a vibrant woman, who was extremely generous with her time and resources. She was a friend to everyone and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Teddy was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard and Jeff Eagon; brother-in-law, Elden Reese; and sister-in-law, Linda Eagon. She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Paul Reese; stepdaughter, Ruth (Earl) Sell; sisters-in-law, Beth Eagon and Caroline Reese; nephew, Jeff (Marie) Eagon; nieces, Nicole (Mark) Eagon and Amy (Jeff) Belles; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

The family is grateful to Diane Schmidt, who cared for Teddy and her mother for years; her kindness and friendship made her a true blessing in our lives.

The family will receive family and friends TOMORROW from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Homes, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m., with visiting for one hour prior. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Donations may be made to the , P.O.
