Ethel Cole, 82, went Home to be with the Lord on April 4, 2014.

She was born on March 13, 1932 in Akron, Ohio the daughter of Howard and Margaret Frick, Ethel most importantly was a devoted Christian. She enjoyed the outdoors, growing flowers and attending to her vegetable garden. She lived in Tennessee and upon moving to Canton she fulfilled her dream of visiting the Canton Hall Of Fame and one of her most joyous moments was seeing the Clydesdale.

Her greatest love was for her family and she always enjoyed spending time with them, especially baking with the grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Ida Hermann. Ethel is survived by her sons, Gerald (Joan) Leasure, Harold Leasure, William Leasure, Howard (Cindy) Leasure and Dennis (Val) Leasure; daughter, Margaret (Lee) Parker; sister, Margaret Douglas; brother, Howard (Monica) Frick; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends may call Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Bethal Lutheran Church (701 Broad Ave. NW, Canton), where service will be held at 12 p.m., with Pastor Darla Ann Kratzer officiating. Interment will take place at North Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Hospice House (716 Commercial Ave. SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663).
