His memory will forever live with his wife, Sharon (Barrickman) Smith, who was always at his side; his loving daughter, Rhonda Brode, and his granddaughters, Cassandra and Christina Brode, who were with their Papa at the end of his journey; his special daughters, Juelle (James) Holz, Laurel (Henry) Camacho, Maryellen Kaii, Lisa Smith, and Jonna Morgan. He is also proud of his 15 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren, and his numerous nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Nancy Yergan, his neighbor and guardian angel; to lifelong friend, Lois Dohse; Great Lakes Caring Hospice for treating us like family; and the owners, employees, and dwellers of Forty Corner Village Mobile Home Park.
Cremation has taken place, per his request, with a private celebration of life to be held later.
