Four strong spirited boys to this union, Cleophus, Tommie Earl, Larry and Edwin. Christine preceded Tommie in death on January 27, 2006.
Couple of years after his marriage to Christine, Tommie decided to bring his family to Akron, Ohio where he joined the B & W Boiler Making Company Team. There he performed the duties of a crane operator and welder. After 33 years of service Tommie retired and joined his wife as they traveled all over the country.
