Antoinette Didato, 99, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away peacefully at home June 11, 2014.

She was a member of St. Anthony Church, St. Monica's Society, Sons of Italy #685, Cassanese Auxiliary, and the Summit County Council of Italian American Society, where she volunteered her time and services to each festival dated back to 1947. Mom and grandma was an integral part of many lives and a roll model to all. She retired from Polsky's after 19 years of service.

Born in Akron on November 1, 1914, to parents Michael and Vincenza (deceased), she was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent; son, Michael; daughter-in-law, Gypsy; and her siblings. Antoinette is survived by her son, Vince; 19 grand, great-, great-great-grandchildren; sister, Josephine Locascio; many nieces and nephews, and other loving family members.

Friends may call 12 until the 2 p.m. service time Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle), with Father Ragnoni officiating. Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony School, 80 E. York St., Akron, OH 44310.
