NORTON -- Wanda H. Easthom, 97, passed peacefully with family by her side on June 24, 2014.
She joins her beloved husband, William and sons, Cliff and Jeff whom she missed so dearly.
Surviving are her daughters, Pam (Jerry) Leksan and Kim (Dave) Ross; daughters-in-law, Becky and Brenda Easthom; grandchildren, Derek and Tyler Easthom, Jill (Tim) Hoffman, Tiffany (Jeff) Ross-Neumann and Tara Ross; five great grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Wanda was born in Barberton to Clifford and Faye Nanna and lived most of her life in the area. She worked at Kroger and Marshall's Department Store in Barberton before marrying and raising her family in Norton, participating in many school and scouting activities with her children. She was an avid bowler for over 20 years and enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband and family.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Doylestown Healthcare Center and Crossroads Hospice for their gentle and loving care of Wanda.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. at Columbia United Church of Christ, 978 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, Rev. Mike Prebynski officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling hour one hour prior to the service. If desired, memorials may be made to Columbia United Church of Christ, Crossroads Hospice or Doylestown Health Care Center Activities Dept.
