JaJuan D. Weems, 23, passed away on August 9, 2016. Born on November 19, 1992, he was a lifetime resident of Akron, Ohio.
JaJuan leaves to cherish his memory girlfriend, Kartia Welch; daughter, Karli Weems; mother, Stacey Weems; father, Clifton DeJournett II; grandmother, Linda Fox; sisters, Capri (Sundiata) Daniels, ShaJuana Pickett, Johnnae Ford, Jessea Little, and Mya Jones; brothers, Shacoby (Dana) Weems, Clyde Weems, Clifton DeJournett III, Cayden DeJournett; special cousin, Michael Frazier; Goddaughter, Domionna Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
Service will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 12 noon at Rhoden Memorial Home, 1101 Palmetto Ave., Akron, Ohio 44306. Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service. Interment at Lakewood cemetery. Condolences may be sent to Rhoden Memorial Home.

Stacey and Weem's family... I'm so sorry for the loss of your son! I know it's hard but try your best to get into the Word and trust God with all of your emotions and mind! He promised he would be there in our hour of need! Stacey, when you think of your son, think about him walking up to a beautiful place with Gold streets; pearly gates; blues skies and blue water! No fighting; fussing or feuding... Just peaceful; loving and wonderful days for the rest of his eternal life! Keep in mind that Heaven is a wonderful place to be and hold on to the great memories you all created with him! Always try and see him in the midst of your mother and father as that's where he is...
