Obituary Condolences

WADSWORTH TWP. -- Hal Himmelbauer, 74, of Wadsworth Twp., died Wednesday, September 15, 2010.

He was born on March 20, 1936 in Evansville, Ind. to the late George and Frances Himmelbauer. Mr. Himmelbauer was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from Pitney Bowes after 23 years of service. He was an avid reader, loved nature and enjoyed working on his property.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Scott. Hal is survived by his wife, Janet and his children, Deidre (Richard) Aranjo of Midland, Mich., Dolph (Melissa) Himmelbauer of Cincinnati, Ohio, Kirsten (Charles) Rachford of Chicago, Ill., and Christine (Neil) Tackett of Wadsworth. There are eight grandchildren, Cody, Samantha, Mackenzie, Hannah, Flynn, Mia, Cooper and Larkin and his siblings, William Himmelbauer, Charles (Mary Helen) Fuhrer, Tony (Karen) Fuhrer, Francie (Ron) Cooper and Anna (Marvin) Dotson.

The family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the Holden Arboretum, 9500 Sperry Rd., Willoughby, OH 44094. Hilliard-Rospert
