Steve A. Mitrovich Obituary
TALLMADGE -- Steve A. Mitrovich, 85, passed away October 30, 2011.

Mr. Mitrovich was born in Akron and had resided in Tallmadge for the past 42 years. His early years were spent in Akron and then in Cuyahoga Falls, where he graduated high school. He graduated from Kent State University in 1952 and earned his Master of Education (also from Kent State) in 1958. Steve retired from Springfield High School in 1985 as a biology teacher and wrestling coach with 35 years of service. He served with the U.S. Army in World War II and was a member of the Kneil-Lawrentz American Legion Post 255 and of the Carvo Golf Group.

Preceded in death by his first wife, Lucille, he is survived by his wife, Dolores 'Dee'; daughter, Kim Perez of Hanover, N.H. ; granddaughters, Julia and Nicole Perez; siblings, Kathryn Bako of Cuyahoga Falls, Danilo Mitrovich of Dubrovnik, Croatia, and Donald (Barbara) Mitrovich of Bel Air, Md.; stepchildren, Michael (Lisa) Subick and Christina (Ralph) Milano and their children and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, where a funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3. A military service will be conducted by American Legion Charles Faust Post 281 at Oakwood Cemetery immediately following.
