William Jindra Obituary

William Jindra, 75, of Valley City, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2012 surrounded by his family in Middleburg Heights.

He was born on April 19, 1936 in Ravenna, Ohio to Thomas and Julia (nee Kotabish) Jindra. William retired from Ford Motor Company as a general supervisor after 35 years and was a former member of the Forest City Yacht Club. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and fishing.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara (nee Bunker) of 56 years; loving children, William (Leila) Jindra, Cherice (Art) Mayer, and Robin (Stephen) Kormos; and cherished grandchildren, Wayne, Jason (Becky), Matthew, and Zachary Jindra; Karl Tobianski, Ozzie Jindra, Andrew, Ryan, Nicholas, and MacKenzie Mayer, Malorie, Katelyn, and Stephen Kormos. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and five brothers.

A celebration of William's life will be held at Skyview Lodge, 336 Pearl Road, Brunswick, Ohio, on Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 2 to 5 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.waitefuneralhome.com.
