Anthony C. "Tony" Mook passed away unexpectedly beside one of his best friends, Rick Ratliff, on February 22, 2012, due to an auto accident. He was 24 years old.|
Tony was born on December 17, 1987, in Akron, Ohio. He graduated from Kenmore High School and was a proud employee of the City of Akron Sewer Systems Maintenance Department. Tony enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved being with friends, whether it was riding his beloved four-wheelers in the woods, working in the Sewer Department, or just hanging out in the garage.
Preceded in death by grandparents, Earl and Mary Mook; Donald and Antoinette Pearl; and Aunt, Cindy Jeffries; left to cherish his memory are parents, Charles and Mary Mook; brother, Chad (Wendy Burns); sisters, Kim, Shelby (Dick) Wetzel, Amanda (Sam) Kutscherenko and Alexis; Tony is also survived by many relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him more than words can say.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks for the tremendous support they have received during this difficult time.
A celebration of Tony's life will take place on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Kenmore Community Center, 880 Kenmore Blvd., Akron, OH 44314.
