Allen Wayne "Rosie" Rose Obituary
Allen Wayne "Rosie" Rose, age 79, passed away February 13, 2013 at Barberton Hospital. Born in Little Birch, West Virginia, he joined the Air Force at age 17, serving two four year terms. He was co-owner of D&A Lounge in Wadsworth and the D&A Rubbish Service. He was a truck driver for several years, both long distance and locally.

He had a private pilot's license and owned a couple airplanes. He loved country music and played guitar with his good friend Carl at fairs, etc. There wasn't much that he couldn't do or didn't do when he was able.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dortha; parents, Allie and Melvin Rose; and brother, Robert Rose.

He is survived by son, David "Rocky" Yost (Jolene) of Cuyhoga Falls and Larry King of Tennessee; sister, Wilma McBride of Akron; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service Monday, February 18, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave., Barberton, Pastor Fred Webb officiating. Calling hours Sunday, February 17, 4 to 8 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home. Burial at Sunset Hills Buiral Park.
