Donald K. McKinney, 66, of Canton passed away February 22, 2013.

He retired as a machinist from the Hoover Co., had a First Degree Black Belt in karate and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He also loved his Upright Bass and Guitar.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elizabeth McKinney. He is survuved by his wife of 37 years, Gina (Regina Tompkins) McKinney; children, Tricia (Gary) Knight of Canton, David (Connie) of Northfield Center, Dale (Mimi) of Massillon and Theresa of Columbus; grandchildren, Corey and Randi, Luke and Alicia, Paige and Madison and Kenny; sisters, Darlene (Danny) Clark of Akron and Judy (Marshall) Brown of Germantown, Tenn; he will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be welcomed at the Schlup-Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd., Akron, Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Rev. Don George officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron.
