Clinton Kyle Obituary
Clinton M. Kyle, 94, passed away on April 1, 2013 after a short illness.

Clint was born on December 6, 1918 in Barton, Maryland to William and Laura (Russell) Kyle. He lived the majority of his adult life in Akron, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 through 1945. He was employed by and retired from Akron Standard Mold. He also worked at the Acme stores on Waterloo Road and Manchester Road where he retired in 2003. He was a member of Firestone Park Presbyterian Church. He loved watching sports and faithfully cheered for the Browns, Cavs, Indians and especially the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Clint was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary, his parents and sister, Doris Bailey. He is survived by his children, Colleen and Tom Williams of Bay Minette, Alabama, Marty and Jody Kyle of Sarasota, Florida and Gayle and Mike Zimmerman of Akron; grandchildren, TJ Williams, Tim and Alyssa Zimmerman, Jennifer and Nate Scott, Erin and Manny Williams, Jessica and Tim Bartlett and Adam and Niki Zimmerman; great-grandchildren, Kaleigh, Skylar and Greyson Scott, Zack and Jack Zimmerman and Landyn Williams. The family would like to thank Nurse Kim from the Palliative Care and Hospice Unit of Summa and Nurse Dianna from the Bath Manor Nursing Home for their loving care and support. Also a special thank you to Kathy Hausch who was a constant support to Clint and his family.

The family will welcome guests at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 4 followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. at The Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St. The family will hold a private service at Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Pastor Katy Brungraber will officiate. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in his name to Hospice of Summa, 444 N. Main St., Suite 2, Akron, OH 44310.
