Jesse Dan Hill, Jr. went home to be with the Lord December 22, 2013 while surrounded by all of his family.
Jesse was born in Eufaula, Alabama on October 31, 1960 to Clara Jane Hill and Jesse Dan Hill Sr.
Jesse graduated from East High School in 1979. Jesse was a Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army during Operation Desert Storm, and was honorably discharged at the time of his death.
Jesse was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Hill; and grandmother, Stella Reese; and nephews, Ricky and Brian Childers.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Jesse Dan Hill Sr; his five sisters, Virginia Hill Childers, Myra, Cassandra Duncan (Conrad), Sonji, and Tomikio; brothers, Terry (Tracy), Edgar (Chrystal), Mario, Lewis (Michelle), and Derrick; and a host of nephews and nieces, Clarissa, April, Joshua, Elisha, Michael, and Greg, Terry Jr, Raschad Andrew, Tara and Dayshana, Amarie, Travon and Treasure, Langston and Dalton, Justice, Ethan, and Nadia.
Jesse leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to cherish his memories. The angels called for Jesse much too soon and his family and friends will miss him dearly. Rest in peace our beloved brother and son.
Friends may call on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at Stewart & Calhoun Funeral Home, 529 W. Thornton St, Akron, OH 44307 Funeral service will immediately follow at 11:30 a.m. Burial will take place on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH. Condolences may be sent to the funeral home.
