Russell L. Collins, age 75, of Cuyahoga Falls went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at his home.
Born February 19, 1938 in Bath, he was the son of Art and Isobel (Hunter) Collins. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from Sacks Electric in 2001. His passion after his retirement was building and flying his model planes and spending time with his friends at the Corsair Model Aircraft Club.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Debby (Ross); niece, Davon Soltis (Kayleigh); and nephew, Derek (Toni) Fay (Megan, Daniel, Brady, Devin, and Trey).
He was preceded in by his parents; brother, Dale Collins; and a sister, Faye Davidson.
Friends will be received at Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 84 N. Miller Rd. on Saturday from 4 to 7 P.M. where services will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 2:30 P.M., private burial will take place at the Bath Center Cemetery.
