W. Miller Obituary
W. Garth "Pete" Miller, 85, of Copley passed away on February 6, 2014.
Garth married Mary Eileen Johnson on December 1, 1951. His life was dedicated to operating the family farm. Garth graduated from Bath School in 1946. He was a member of the Summit County Farm Bureau, Silver Kings of Yesteryear Tractor Club and the United States Army. Garth drove bus for Copley Schools and drove truck for Chemical Lehman and Akron Tractor.
Garth was preceded in death by his parents, Treva and William; sister, Corinne; and great-grandson, Kody. He is survived by his wife, Eileen; daughter, Mary (Bill) Lehman of Westerville; sons, Jeffrey of Richwood and Tim of Columbus; grandkids, Dennis Miller, Nicole (Brian) Covil and Adeleigh and Clayton Miller; great-grandkids, Ty and Austin Miller and Jacob Covil. Garth also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends, including best friend, Jim Beard.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Hummel Funeral Home (3475 Copley Rd., Copley, Ohio), where friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Private entombment will take place at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Copley Fire and Rescue. Please visit. www.hummelcares.com to share memories or condolences.
