Wayne W. Bloom, 93, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014 at his home in Akron, Ohio.
He was born March 13, 1920 in Akron, Ohio. Wayne worked for 35 years at Vaughn Machinery in Cuyahoga Falls as a machinist and retired from General Motors. He loved sports of all kinds and watching the Cleveland teams.
Wayne was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Doris; mother, Bertha Songer; son, Terry; and six brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara (Charles) Demchock of Uniontown; eight grandchildren, Chuck (Colleen) Demchock, Michelle (Mark) McKee, Roger Demchock, Carol Dadisman, Terry Bloom, Rebecca (Dave) Morrison, Lucas Bloom and Isaiah Bloom; ten great grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Wayne loved animals of all kinds and favored his dogs, Sweetie and Babe.
