Tyler D. Shamburger 18, went home to be with the Lord on June 21, 2014.
He was born on December 16, 1995 in Akron, Ohio. He attended Akron Public Schools.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Melvin Haynes Sr. and great grandfather, Charles Davis Sr.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his parents, LeTosha (Hansel) Hughley; daughter, Skyler West; brother, Devontae Vega of Dover, Delaware; sisters, LaMaria Hughley and Shaqia Hughley of Charlotte, N.C.; grandparents, Priscilla Haynes, Jacqueline Gordon and Allen Gordon Sr.; great grandmothers, Rosie Davis and Katrina Davis; special friend, Drewcilla Stovall; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
**The family has requested that NO PHOTOS be taken at the service.**
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 12 p.m. at Rhoden Memorial Home, 1101 Palmetto Ave., where family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service, Pastor Gregory Partridge eulogizing. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery. Procession will form at 1281 Arnold Ave., Akron, Ohio 44305 and condolences may be sent to 931 Davies Ave., Akron, Ohio 44306.

Tyler was always my heart, my first nephew, my baby!! Every day I keep asking why you why they have to take you away from us??? I keep looking at your pics and baby pics. And pictures of Skyler and I began to remember u as a baby. How you use to suck off all the cheese off the cheese puffs and. then want to share or how you always knew when my mom your Gege would have crab legs, you would wake up out your sleep to get you some and then say "Gege don't forget the butter!!!" Man I miss coming to my moms and you pulling up in the loud truck and u saying what's up auntie tiff!! Man this is unreal!!! Watch over us we love and miss you down here!!! Watch over my baby Jaliyah up there in heaven and we gonna watch over your precious baby Skyler down here!! You stay sweet until we meet!!

I am so deeply saddened to hear of the tragic loss of Tyler. My heartfelt sympathy and prayers are with his family and friends, especially his mother. I had only just recently became acquainted with this dear boy; I will always remember his big beautiful brown eyes, kind smile, soft spoken voice and gentle demeanor. My only comfort is knowing that Tyler is safe in the arms of our Savior Jesus Christ and rejoicing in God's heavenly kingdom-safe from the trials here on earth. I pray Tyler's family and friends hold onto hope in God and find comfort in God's love: "But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body."
