Alberta Farkas Obituary
Alberta L. Farkas, age 81, of Sullivan, Ohio passed away suddenly Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Lodi Community Hospital.
She was born on October 31, 1934 in Akron, Ohio to Carl and Edna (Armour) Donnett and had resided with her husband, Richard in Sullivan for 46 years.
She had attended Revere High School and was a homemaker.
Surviving are: husband, Richard to whom she was married for 60 years; daughters, Terrie Medeiros of Sullivan, Cindy (Richard) Shook of Sullivan, Trudy Prostejovsky of Sullivan, Rhonda (Chris) Garens of Sullivan; six grandchildren, Ray Shook, Joseph and Joshua Prostejovsky, Channen (Miguel) Quintela, Mathew Stuart, Jeremiah Garens; sister, Jackie Morante of Arizona; sisters-in-law, Carol Donnett, Doris Burdette; brothers-in-law, Russell (Barbara) Farkas, Tom (Myrna) Farkas, Jim (Diane) Farkas; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bill and Douglas Donnett; sister-in-law, Aleta Donnett; brother-in-law, Herman Morante.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at the Grace Brethren Church, 8992 Firestone Rd., Homerville, OH 44235. Pastor George Swain will officiate. Burial will follow at Sullivan Southview Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church and Wednesday, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the church.
Parker & Son Funeral Home in Lodi is handling arrangements.
