David Dzatko

David Dzatko, 59, passed away suddenly December 26, 2017.

He was born in Akron and graduated from St. John the Baptist grade school and Garfield High School. David was a hard worker who never missed a day of work. He had a great sense of humor that will be missed.

Preceded in death by his father, John, he is survived by his mother, Pat; brother, Anthony (Beth); sister, Deborah (Chris) James; aunt, Rosemary; nephews, Daniel and Alex; and niece, Meghan.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 1 - 3 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St. Donations may be made to Victim Assistance, 150 Furnace St., Akron, OH 44304.

Dave, it was a wonderful time we spent together as friends at Garfield and our continued friendship out of school hanging out at the poolhall or wherever we had goodtimes. I will miss you me ole friend and until we meet again brother. Peace Be With You.

My condolences to Tony and the Dzatko family for your loss. I remember Dave from Goodrich Jr. High School, when he would occasionally walk home from school with me. Dave was always so sweet and friendly! Always had a smile! Prayers!

Pat Tony Debbie. Damn tony sorry my friend been years but how I rem Dave if he had to go this is the way he would have picked. Soon as I heard I knew he was trying to help or protect someone!! I had only known Dave for a few months we worked together at Autopart international ,he was a very nice and considerate man he had no problem helping others this is a horrible loss to all that knew him I am truly sorry Linda Williamson
