John Cusher Obituary
BARBERTON John Cusher, 86, passed away June 9, 2002, at his residence, after a brief illness.
Born in Ralphton, Pa., he had been a Barberton resident most of his life, where he retired from Babcock & Wilcox after 42 years. He was a member of S.S. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Bar berton. He was also a proud Navy veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific, and was present at the battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa.
He was preceded in death by brothers, George and Anthony, and sisters, Anna Zelium, Elizabeth Mangus, and Mary Stasko. Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Anna; son, John A. of Wads worth; very caring and loving friends, Fran and Bill Lessiter of Marshallville; close extended family, Michael and Donald Lessiter and Michelle Fox and their children, Matthew Lessiter, and Jordan and Heather Fox; nieces, Margaret McArdle, Mary Slanovec; nephews, John, George, and Tom Stasko.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 9 a.m., at the Hahn- Hostetler Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at S.S. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, with Fr. Edward Lajack, celebrant. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling hours TONIGHT from 7 to 9; Rosary at 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to V.N.S. Hospice.

I was sorry to hear that John had pass away Sunday.Fran called me on Monday to tell me that the funeral was on Tuesday. We can`t be there
for you and John jr. you are in our payers. God bless, and hold you

I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your husband.I just wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. In case you don't remeber me I wroked at Barebrton Hosptial with you in dietary. I use to be Mary Baker.May God bless you and your son.
