Sep 13, 1962 - Dec 22, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Mark Edward Fryar was born September 13, 1962, in Oklahoma City, OK. He passed away unexpectedly December 22, 2012, while on business in Lakeland, FL. He was a beloved son and husband and a very devoted father and papa. Mark's entire career was spent in the automotive industry, and he touched countless lives as he traveled across the country. He was currently employed by Solid Start True Brand. Mark had a special gift for making friends and was loved by many. He was a devoted fan of the Oklahoma State Cowboys and had a passion for sports. Mark loved life and lived it to the fullest. Mark is survived by his mother, Marylyn Love; his wife, Karen Fryar; his children, Audrey Fryar and Mark Christopher Fryar; stepchildren, Scott Challis, Jamie Rogers and husband George, Aaron Challis and wife Alyssa, Jennifer Warmoth and husband Clayton; grandchildren, Gage Rogers, McClain Rogers, Kylie Challis, Maycee Challis, Alex Challis and Keaton Warmoth; brother, Greg Fryar; and sister, Laura Fryar. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 27, 2012, 6-9 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, December 28, 2012, 2 p.m. at Southern Hills Church of God, located at 1029 W. Growing up together, going to the same schools, Mark was always a super guy. Our families had a lot in common,and even our Moms were friends. I want Mark's family to know that my family morns for their loss. We pray for healing, because a lot of hearts have been broken by his sudden passing.

I had the pleasure to meet and work with Mark in the 80's when I moved to OKC. I saw him many times since. He always had the big smile and was always happy.

I am so sorry about Mark, he was such an amazing guy!! I know that Bubba, Mrs L and Dad welcomed "the Boy" to heaven with open arms... I know that he will be so truely missed by all of his family. It is a great picture of Mark, he always had a smile for everyone he met....
