Feb 11, 1922 - Feb 22, 2013 CARNEY Avis Mae Warren Westbrook, 91, of Carney, OK, passed away on February 22, 2013. Born February 11, 1922, in Wynnewood View, OK, she was the daughter of Otis and Fannie Warren. She lived in Midwest City for many years and was a lifelong part of Warren's Nursery. Avis was an avid gardener, loving to grow both vegetables and flowers. She also loved sewing, canning, and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Forrest L. Westbrook; and seven siblings. Survivors include three sons: William Westbrook, of Carney, OK; Forrest Westbrook, Jr., of Edmond, OK; and Robert Westbrook, of Norman, OK; two daughters: Clarette K. Westbrook, of Norman, OK; and Yvonne Knapp, of Raritan, IL; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Ernest Holasek, of Norman, OK; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, with burial alongside her husband at 3 p.m. in Oaklawn Cemetery, Wynnewood, OK.
