DEANNA FORREST

Jan 8, 1939 - Jan 10, 2013 YUKON Deanna Elaine (Dutch) (Snider) Forrest went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 10, 2013, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Elaine was born on January 8, 1939, to Charles E. Hugh and Verna Mae Nelson in Dover, OK. She attended Hennessy and Welch Schools, where she graduated from Welch High School in 1956. She was a retired nurse, many of those years spent working for a dear friend, Dr. Cordum. Mema had a heart of gold and will be terribly missed by her family and friends. Her pride and joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was truly a gift from God. She is survived by her three children: Kevin Snider & wife Kay, of Yukon, OK; Kimberly Columbus & husband Chris, of Platte City, MO; and Keri Meyer & husband Dane, of Yukon, OK; stepchildren: Gerri & Scott Young, of Southaven, MA; and Bud & Amy Forrest, of Tupelo, MS; grandchildren: Tyler, Bradyn and Grabrielle Meyer, of Yukon, OK; and Kendal Keith, of Platte City, MO; eight step-grandchildren and two step-great- grandchildren; brother, Gary Nelson, of Overland Park, KS; sisters: Sandi Baker, of Lancaster, WI; Patricia Regan & husband Rick, of Andale, KS; and Ginger Greene, of Yukon, OK; aunt, Betty Hefner, of Lawton, OK; uncle, Neely Nelson & wife Frances, of Creedmoor, NC; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, Rufus Forrest, and other dear friends. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2013, at Canadian Hills Church of the Nazarene, 11744 W. Reno (1/2 mile west of Mustang Road), Yukon, OK.
