JAMES CLARK

Oct 15, 1931 - July 22, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY James Calvin Clark (JC) was born on October 15, 1931, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to James Calvin Clark, Jr. and Mary Esther Clark. He graduated Britton High School, where he was very active in sports and involved in class activities. He attended the University of Oklahoma and Connors State, where he played football. He was drafted while attending Connors State and served four years in the Air Force during the Korean War. After leaving the service, he finished his education at Oklahoma City University with a degree in Marketing. He married Joyce Rosecrans in 1951, and they were married for 26 years. JC and Joyce were active members of the Britton Christian Church for 20 years; and after moving to Wichita, he became a member of Riverside Christian Church. He worked for Hormel for several years and eventually retired from Burl Holmes Ford in Oklahoma City. He is survived by his two sons, Chris Clark and his wife Liz and Jay Clark and his wife Patty; one brother, Allen Clark, of Johnson City, TN; five grandchildren, Ross Clark and his wife Renee, Derek Clark, Will Clark, Keely Clark, and Cole Clark. The family will be holding a memorial service at a date to be determined later.
