JERALD CRUCE

Nov 26, 1943 - Jan 19, 2013 DELAPLANE, VA Jerald Lee Cruce, 69, of Delaplane, VA, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013, in Fauquier Hospital. He was born in Okemah, OK on November 26, 1943, a son of the late R.D. (Bill) and Kathleen Cruce. In addition to his parents; he was predeceased by a brother, Robert (Buddy) Cruce; and sister, Ruth Ann Benyshek. Jerry enjoyed and worked in Germany and Saudi Arabia for several years after his Army service. After relocating back to the United States, he held several facilities management positions for Page, Contel, GTE, and General Dynamics. Later, he started his own facilities management company, and later still, became the founder and chairman of ComSource, Inc., an extremely successful telecommunications company located in Frederick, MD. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marlene Cruce, whom he met in Germany while in the Army; and brother, Charles B. Cruce, of Checotah, OK. Also surviving are many extended family members and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at the Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton, VA.
