Nov 18, 1925 - March 6, 2013 BETHANY Pat Wayne Updegrove went to be with his heavenly Father March 6, 2013. He was born in Anadarko, OK on Nov. 18, 1925, to Iva Jean & Robt. F. Updegrove. Pat had two brothers, Bruce and Bob; one sister, Jean Craighead & husband Wayne. Pat joined the Navy at 17, serving his country in WWII, mostly in the South Pacific, 21 months on one island. He was present at the Bikini atomic bomb test. He met and married his wife, Mary, in 1947; they had two sons, Bruce Wayne and Michael Ray; two grandsons, Josh and Zach; two granddaughters, Brandy and Vickie; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was an avid fisherman, who, along with some friends, formed the first bass club in Oklahoma, the Oklahoma City Bass Masters. He was last employed at Ordermatic. A family gathering will be held in the near future to celebrate his life.
