RAY NIKKEL

Oct 17, 1931 - Nov 30, 2013 WARR ACRES Ray Nikkel passed away on November 30, 2013. Ray was born October 17, 1931, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Ted and Lula Nikkel. He attended Oklahoma A&M College. He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Ray was an Engineer and Regional Sales Manager for Honeywell. He founded and was president of E.B. Systems, Inc. Ray was a member of Church of the Redeemer, a 32nd Degree Mason, and member of the India Temple Shrine. He was a Member and Past President of the Young Men's Club and Regency Dance Club. Ray was also a member of the Elks Lodge #417. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Lois Jay. He is survived by his wife, Jennie; his daughter, Dee Ann Nikkel, of Dallas; son, Mark and wife Carla and granddaughters, Avery and Emily, of Edmond; also a stepdaughter, Diana Strube, of Oklahoma City; and stepson, Allen Salazar, of California. A memorial service to celebrate Ray's life will be held at Church of the Redeemer, located at 5600 N.W. 63rd St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on Tuesday, December 3 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, 825 NE 13th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73104.
