Stan was born to Wilburn and Willie (Bullard) Jamison March 27, 1943, in Durant, OK. He had four siblings, Jean, Alma, Shirley and Holly. Stan was born in Durant, OK but as a young boy, moved to Midwest City, where he attended Soldier Creek Elementary, Monroney Junior High, and Midwest City HS, where he graduated in 1961. After high school, Stan attended Rose State, UCO, Southwestern, and Pacific Lutheran, where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in social work. In 1966, Stan joined the Army
and served in Vietnam. While stationed at Fort Lewis, WA, he met his future wife, Joan, whom he married in 1968. Stan retired from Tinker as a planner after 22 years. They have two daughters, Christine and Kellie; and one granddaughter, Kamryn. He also held a very special place in his heart for Brooklyn, whom he treated as his own granddaughter. Stan loved spending time with his family, going to the lake, coaching his daughters' sports teams, and watching Kamryn play softball, dance, and play the piano. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Jean. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Joan; daughters: Christine Jamison; and Kellie Zuniga and husband Jeremy, and their daughter, Kamryn; sister, Alma Holland and her husband John; sister, Shirley Sexton and husband JT ; sister, Holly Harrison and husband Pat; as well as many extended, loving family and friends. Viewing will be held at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Monday, January 14, 2013, from Noon to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, January 15, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Services to celebrate his life will be held at Soldier Creek Baptist Church Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at 2 p.m.
