Tammy Dawn Causey, 53, of Oklahoma City, passed away May 8, 2013, from respiratory failure. She was born April 8, 1960, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Tammy graduated Edmond High School in 1978 and from University of Central Oklahoma in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Criminal Justice. In 1985, she received her Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law. In 1984, she attended summer law school in Oxford, England, and traveled in Europe. Tammy lived in Conifer, Colorado, from 1989 to 1995, working for Royal Insurance Company in Denver, Colorado, as the liaison between General Motors
and Royal Insurance in the product liability division. In 1995, Tammy returned to Oklahoma. In 2001, she went to work for Farmers Insurance Company in Oklahoma City, where she suffered a stroke in 2008. Tammy loved reading and had an extensive collection of books. She also loved traveling and took many trips, the most recent to Italy. Tammy is survived by her mother, Janice Little, of Edmond, OK; her father, David Causey, of Luther, OK; her brother and sister-in-law, Wade and Candice Causey, of Gilbert, AZ; three nephews, Troy Causey, Nathanial Causey, and Chad Causey; and one niece, Bregany Causey; all of Gilbert, AZ; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2013, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at the Memorial Park Historic Cemetery Chapel, followed by a committal service at Memorial Park Cemetery.
