VIRGINIA FROST

Nov 24, 1941 - Oct 12, 2012 BETHANY Virginia Evelyn Baldwin Frost went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, October 12th. She was born in Oklahoma City on November 24, 1941, to Jenny Helena Hunt Baldwin and Williams Jennings Baldwin. She married Robert Dean Frost on June 17, 1961. They shared 51 wonderful years together and were blessed with three sons and five grandchildren, whom she loved with all of her heart. She was a 1959 graduate of Putnam City High School and received her nursing degree from OU School of Nursing, working at Deaconess and Bethany Hospitals. Later, she returned to her alma mater, Putnam City HS and served as the school nurse. Virginia loved all of the joys of life and gave of herself to make the world a better place through her service to others. She was a pioneer member of Heartland Women's Investment Club chapter. She and her husband raised many fine Brittany bird dogs. Her newest dog, Penny, was always at her side. She enjoyed hunting, traveling, making cookies with her grandchildren and spending time with her family, whatever the occasion. Her home was always a gathering place for family and friends. She is survived by her husband, of the home; sons: Robert Coe Frost and wife Lisa Conard Frost, of Elk City, OK; and Christopher Frost, of Yukon, OK; daughter-in-law, Tammy Frost Cambron, of Piedmont, OK; grandchildren, Tyler Frost and his mother Kim, Briar Frost Cambron, Seneca Poulton Frost, Emma Kate Frost, and Brooke Evelyn Frost; one brother, Jim Baldwin, of Beaverton, OR; three sisters: Elizabeth Malcome and Kathy Baldwin, of Madison, GA; and Jane Lopez, of Moore, OK; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved son, Jeffrey Dean Frost; and a sister, Susan Baldwin Newsome. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 16, 2012, from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., with family receiving visitors from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Services to celebrate her life will be Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at the Buchanan Funeral Service chapel, with interment to follow at Bethany Cemetery.
