Nov 18, 1927 - April 27, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Ayline O. Welch passed away April 27, 2012. She was born Nov. 18, 1927, in Wister, OK to Callie J. and Bertha (Burgess) Ray. Ayline married Junior Welch on Nov. 29, 1947. She was a member of Wilmont Place Baptist Church in OKC. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, quilting and especially spending time with her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Junior, Leon, and Butch (Robert) Ray; and daughter, Dena Keel. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Junior Welch; son, Don Welch and wife Connie; daughters, Ann Brown and husband Alvin, Joye Gooch and husband Charles, and Delisa Kelley and husband Pete; brothers, Cecil, Jerry, and Billy (Cotton) Ray; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; numerous extended family; and honorary sister, Irene Rider. Viewing will be 4-8 p.m. today at Vondel Smith South. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Wilmont Place Baptist Church, OKC, with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Park in Norman.
