June 27, 1932 - Aug 15, 2012 EDMOND Carolyn Tipton Vorva, 80, longtime Edmond resident, passed away August 15, 2012. Carolyn was born June 27, 1932, in El Paso, TX to Truman and Charlene Ellerd. One of three children, Carolyn grew up in Blanchard. As a college student, Carolyn met her future husband, John A. Vorva. She was a homemaker and also a secretary in the Dean's Office at Central State University. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; and her grandson, Joseph A. Vorva. Carolyn is survived by her children, Jeannette McPhail, and John Christopher Vorva and his wife Kimberly; grandchildren, Jeremiah D. McPhail, Jonathan Zachary Vorva, and Joseph Vorva; as well as many nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends. Donations may be made to Free to Live Animal Sanctuary or the
