July 25, 1932 - Nov 1, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Fred H. Mosshart, age 80, of OKC, OK, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Nov. 1, 2012. He was born July 25, 1932, in Knox City, TX to Fred Henry and Gladys Hope Mosshart. "Bud," as everyone called him, grew up in Abilene, TX and lived there until his retirement in 1995. The next year, Bud and wife Dolores moved to OKC and lived there until his passing. Bud was a member of BFC, where he was active in the choir and used his woodworking skills in numerous projects for the church. He also volunteered in the food pantry at ROC - Reaching Our City.Bud is survived by the love of his life for 58 years, Dolores Mosshart; his four sons: Rod and wife Maryann, and Joey and wife Shelli, of Yukon, OK; Tim and wife Marcia, and Tod and wife Lori, of OKC, OK; daughter, Emily Moore and husband Rick, of Harker Heights, TX; 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bobby Neal Mosshart.Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4 at Mercer-Adams. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5 at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene.
