KrohnSept 13, 1927 - Aug 4, 2012 TUTTLE Gerald R. "Jerry" Krohn, age 84, died Saturday, August 4, 2012. Jerry was born on September 13, 1927, in Joliet, Illinois, to Reinhart & Lucinda Krohn. He served in the U.S. Army for over 20 years during WWII and the Korean War as an army engineer, a mechanic on the Nike Ajax Missiles and later as an army recruiter. After retirement, he tended to his horses. He was member of the Lutheran Church, the Masonic Lodge and American Legion. The love of his life was his wife of over 60 years, Joan Scheidt (d. 2008). He was preceded in death by his wife; son, Gary; his parents; and sister, May Parker. He is survived by daughter, Janet Anderson and husband Andy; sons, Bob and wife Winnie, and Jeff and wife Sharon; also nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at McNeil's Funeral Service, Mustang, OK, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle, Oklahoma.
