June 10, 1929 - Aug 3, 2012 YUKON Herman Lavon Wheeler, 83, resident of Yukon, Oklahoma, died Friday morning, August 3, 2012. He was born in Martha, Oklahoma, on June 10, 1929. He was employed at the Western Company for 32 years, then he worked a few years at O'Reilly Auto Parts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Opal Wheeler; first wife, Betty; daughter, LaQuita Cook; brother, Bernon Wheeler; and two cousins, Richard Crisp and Jean Sieg. He is survived by Wanda, his wife, of the home; his daughter and son-in-law, Gilbert and Pam DeLeon; daughter and son-in-law, Robert and Tonya Trevino; stepson, Mike Brothers; his brother, Charles Wheeler; his cousin, Dwain Howard; 11 grandchildren, Steve, Monica, Brian, JaLain, Coty, Joshua, Heather, Brandon, Michael, Micha and Payten; 19 great-grandchildren; and great friends and neighbors. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma.
