December 14, 1926 - June 26, 2012 EDMOND James E. Carinder, Sr. (85), of Edmond, was born, Dec. 14, 1926, in Caney, Kansas and raised in Henryetta, OK. James married Peggie Stillwell on Jan. 7, 1949 and together they shared over 63 years and raised two children. James retired from Pittsburgh Plate Glass Industries in 1989 after 45 years of service.James is survived by his wife, Peggie of the home; daughter, Jennifer Langford & husband Jesse (Edmond); son, Dr. James E. Carinder, Jr. (Mandeville, LA); brother, Joe G. Carinder, Sr. & wife Meredith (Tulsa); and sister, Reta Good (MN). He also leaves behind grandchildren, Samantha Muller & husband Richard and Joshua Carinder Jones and fiance Kelee Ochs; and great-grandchildren, Gavin Edward Muller and Zurie Marie Jones; as well as several nephews and nieces. James was predeceased by parents, Kenneth A. and Alice M. Carinder, brothers, Kenneth A. Carinder and John A .Carinder, and sister, Rachel Evans.Services celebrating James' life will be held at 10:00am, Friday, June 29, 2012 at Crawford Family Funeral Service of Edmond, with reception to follow.
