YoungMarch 31, 1952 - July 22, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY James Rupert "Jim" Young, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, died on Sunday, July 22. He was born March 31, 1952, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to the late Jess Oscar Young, Jr and the late Mary Lanelle Naney Young. Jim was also preceded in death by his oldest brother, Dan N. Young, also of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jim was the grandson of the late Dr. Rupert Naney, founding pastor of The Nichols Hills Baptist Church. Jim worked in the past at Federal Exams as an administrative assistant. He also attended Columbia University, where he was an honor student. Jim is survived by Gordon Beznoska, of the home; his brother, Jess Oscar Young III of Lansing, Michigan; one niece and one nephew and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held at The First Unitarian Church in Oklahoma City at 10 a.m. August 7. Visitation with the family and friends will be held immediately following the service. Burial will be at the Walters Cemetery.
