May 27, 1918 - Nov 9, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Born May 27, 1918, to Fred Hamlin and Rachel Helzer Hamlin in Arapaho, OK, Jeff was raised on a farm near Clinton, OK. He was graduated from Independence High School and attended Enid Business College for undergraduate studies. He served in WWII 1945-48 in the U.S. Army. In 1949, Jeff graduated from Oklahoma A&M. Jeff moved to Oklahoma City and reactivated in the U.S. Army 1950-54, serving in the Korean War. While on leave during this time, he married Emmileen (Emmy Adwan) on February 4, 1951. Jeff was an accountant, tax preparer and business owner of US Landau until his retirement in 1981. After his retirement, he took up upholstery work as a hobby. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, woodworking and was an avid gardener. He adored his four grandchildren and recently enjoyed the birth of his first great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward; and sister, Marie. Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Emmy; daughters, Sandy Caram and her husband Chris, Becky Hall and her husband Greg; grandchildren, Joel Caram, Stacy Caram Hughes and husband Jordan, Matt Hall, and Katie Hall; and great-grandson, Reid Hughes. We have always looked up to you Daddy, and we will now lift our eyes to heaven. The family will receive guests at Hahn-Cook on Sunday, November 10, 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, November 12, 2012, at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, with interment in Fairlawn Cemetery.
