December 29, 1930 - July 7, 2012 DEL CITY Jimmie Dale Martin, 81 of Del City, Oklahoma, passed away on July 7, 2012. Jimmie was born December 29, 1930, adopted as an infant by Stephen Hall Martin and Leland Cook Martin and raised in Hammon, OK. He was a graduate of the Class of 1948, Hammon High School where he was the Basketball Mascot affectionately known as Chipmunk. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Geraldine Martin; daughter, Juanita and Bob Stewart; son, Steven and Roberta Martin; daughter, LaQuita and Patrick Mancuso; daughter, Jackie and friend Mike Galier; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and many extended family and friends. Jimmie was a cabinet maker and enjoyed woodworking and stock car racing. Most of all, he loved the Lord and serving Him and spending time with his family. A special thanks to Hospice Quality Care, 921 S. Sooner Rd., Midwest City and St. Anthony Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Quality Care. There will be no Visitation. A Memorial Service 11am July 14 at Del View Baptist Church, 2500 South Bryant, Del City.
