October 20, 1942 - October 9, 2012 MEEKER John Willard Fisher, age 69, of Meeker, passed away October 9, 2012. He was born October 20, 1942, in Mt. Vernon, IL, to Willard & Fern (Seal) Fisher. John was the president of the Country Music Association in Oklahoma. He enjoyed singing and playing music. He started singing when he was just a child in the church choir. John is survived by his wife, Donna Fisher; 2 sons, Brian Fisher and wife, Kris and Brett Fisher; 2 step-daughters, Kelly Williams and husband, Kenneth and Kimi Bilyeu and husband, Tim; step-son, Dr. Kris Wilson and wife, Pamela; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, Robert Fisher. He is preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Kathryn; and his first wife, Loretta Sue Fisher, who passed away in 2000. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM-9:00 PM, Wednesday, and from 9:00 AM-9:00 PM, Thursday. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, October 12, at Harvest Church, 6450 36th Ave. NW, Norman, OK. Interment to follow at Kolb Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, Moore, OK.
