Oct 13, 1947 - Jan 10, 2013 MUSTANG Lloyd D. Wicker, 65, was called home by his most precious Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 10, 2013. Born to Clabe & Martha Mae Wicker in Pecos, TX, Lloyd was one four siblings. He was preceded in death by his father. Closest immediate family survivors include his wife, Gayla, of the home; brother, Floyd & wife Margenia, of Midwest City, OK; sisters: Martha Sue Wicker and Deborah Kay Dawson, Norman, OK; and Cassondra Blubaugh, of Garland, TX; his mother, Martha Mae Wicker, Norman, OK; and mother-in-law, Maxine Sanders, Oklahoma City. Lloyd is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Wicker's professional career consisted of almost 50 years in the construction industry. In most recent years, he performed construction consulting services on major commercial and government projects. Away from work, Lloyd was an avid fly-fisherman, golfer, and hunter. A devout Christian, Lloyd found great joy and solitude in his Bible studies. Viewing will be Monday, January 14, Noon - 9 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany, OK. Services will be held at Mercer-Adams on Tuesday, January 15 at 11:30 a.m., and interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Oklahoma City, OK.
